This is the end going west and the beginning going east of the manual block section of the Potomac Route. All trains must stop here and check with the SW tower operator for orders. There are two request buttons (one on the Swift Run side and one on the Hopkins Springs water tank side of the peninsula) for the computer controlled interlock that controls access to the helix.
